Like violets in conversation with dandelions on a tree root, trombones sing funky favors with a desire to declare victory over a bungalow beat.
Motivated by our Taiko Music Lab at the Great Lakes Taiko Center, this track was created in the Logic Pro app from free association search in loops for World genre then family tradition of making mantou (steamed buns) Bun...leading to Bungalow Beat loop, then taiko friend mentioning they studied music and specifically the trombone as an instrument...finding various Victory and Desire Trombone loops and patterning three Cuban Funk Trombone loops into a dancy structure for this tune.
Koto Summer 2022
03 July 2022: Revisit and remake of "My Song 3 koto summer" from the #TaikoLove Sounds 2019 collection (soundcloud.com/eileensho/sets/taikolovesounds). Exactly three years later to the day, I replaced the original Taiko track with a couple clearer nagado and shime daiko tracks and rearranged the other koto and percussion parts for a new summer concoction!
